In my own words
I have varied interests, but am most proud of having founded the International Carnival of Pozitivities at www.internationalcarnivalofpozit ivities.blogspot.com. It is a forum for the everyday voices of all people living with HIV/AIDS around the world, including family, friends and caregivers of people living with HIV/AIDS. As long as anyone of us is living with HIV, all of us are living with AIDS.
I have seen Joan in concert three times. Once at Wolftrap in Washington, DC, and twice at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, North Carolina.
